Irrigation systems are exciting not mundane! Why? Because the technologies that give us such great devices like iPhones and GPS for our automobiles are finally being applied to irrigation systems.

The technological changes in the past few years is absolutely a tectonic shift. Until recently, irrigation time clocks would needed to be regularly  changed to water efficiently and effectively. Usually, homeowners never adjust the watering schedule for the entire season.  Without regular ‘tweaking’, the system will usually overwater or underwater. However, Toro’s Intelli-Sense controller downloads the watering schedule each day via satellite and is as precise as within 1/2 mile of your home. Data from NASA and NOAA are used to provide the most accurate watering scheduling  possible to date.

In side by side comparisons of two equally-sized properties in Lewes, the client with the TORO Intelli-Sense  paid $100 less in one month for water than the adjacent neighbor who was using a traditional Rain Bird controller.
